First camp- 1968

Victory Center Bible Camp, Ft Pierre, SD began in 1968 with the goal of providing an opportunity for young people to have an affordable Bible camp experience. What started with only 2 weeks of camp per year and 56 campers in national guard tents for dorms and chapel, outhouses for bathrooms, and solar heated water for showers has grown tremendously.

We are currently running 7 weeks of camp with over 400 campers and possibilities for additional usages.  God has chosen to use this camp to reach many young people with the truth of the gospel and help many others grow deeper in their walk with the Lord.

The camp began under the direction of three missionaries of the American Sunday School Union.  The ASSU changed it’s name to the American Missionary Fellowship, and again in 2011 to InFaith. The ministry of VCBC continues under the direction of InFaith missionaries but the goal of the camp remains the same:  "To REACH CAMPERS FOR CHRIST"
